When
Thursday, July 15, 2010
9:00pm - 21+
Where
2525 S. Jefferson
St. Louis, MO, USA 63104

The Way Out Club is located at the corner of South Jefferson and Gravois in beautiful south St. Louis and is a "home away from home" for many local musicians and artists. The Way Out Club first opened its doors at the original location on Cherokee on September 29, 1994, and continues to host an eclectic blend of quality live music including punk, rockabilly, garage, surf, folk and alternative, just to name a few. Owners Bob and Sherri put a lot of heart and soul into their place and their focus on local music has given many bands their start in the local club scene. Write to us at 2525 S. Jefferson, St. Louis, MO 63104. Or call us sometime at 314 664 7638.

Voted best rock 'n' roll bar by the Riverfront Times, the Way Out is a definite St. Louis institution, and a rock 'n' roll museum to boot. So if you're 21 or older, drop on in and remember, at the Way Out Club, you're never a stranger!

Return to the Loop – 06/16/10 – Cicero\’s

Show
Return to the Loop
When
Wednesday, June 16, 2010
8:30pm - 16+
Where
6691 Delmar
University City, Missouri, US 63130

Since 1977, Cicero’s has been serving up the finest pizzas, pastas and gourmet burgers along with live music to hipsters in the University City Loop. Cicero’s originally placed its mark in the U. City Loop one block down Delmar at 6510. It was there that Cicero’s defined itself as “the place to be,” serving as a breeding ground for many up-and-coming bands, including Uncle Tupelo (Wilco & The Jayhawks), The Urge, Beck, Ani DiFranco, They Might Be Giants, The Cranberries, and many more.

In the Spring of 1997, Cicero’s moved to its present location at 6691 Delmar. The move was a positive step in transforming Cicero’s into an entertainment plex: more space for dining, a venue moved out of the basement and into a fantastic dedicated space...more space for patrons to sprawl and mingle. Cicero’s also added 53 taps along with several stand-up coolers to accommodate a vast selection of beer and beverages to our already diverse restaurant food menu.

The Library is proud to host terrific up-and-coming acts, as well as some of the best local, semi-national, and national original bands out on the music circuit today. The Library's full menu is an escape from traditional "bar fare" with everything from Chili-Lime Shrimp, and Crab Cake appetizers, to the Grilled Salmon, and Tarragon Chicken entrees, as well as soups, salads, burgers, sandwiches, and everything in between!
