Busy Few Weeks

We’ve got a busy few weeks ahead of us. With the completion of a great show at Brothers Bar & Grill in Wildwood, a two hour set might I add, and recording at Jupiter Studios next weekend, then finally the Naughty P.J. Party the following week, it’s getting hard to keep things straight.

First off, Brothers Bar & Grill in Wildwood is, to say the least, a really cool bar. We are usually not fans of playing Bar & Grills, but this one turned out to be a really good show. We played about two hours and then Common Era closed the show (they invited us).

If you never been to Brothers Bar & Grill, during a show or not, you really should make the trip. They have American bar food, great parking, video game, shuffle board, and in the evenings live music or open mic night. It’s a really comfortable bar and to top it off, it’s clean. Jupiter Studios

Next week we are recording Broken and Norman at Jupiter Studios. After a great debate and a lot of compromise we decided that these two songs would be best. We know them well, enjoy them and think they show the true diversity of our music. Unfortunetly, we will not just be giving these tracks away, you’ll have to buy them, most likely .99 cents. But we will be putting up some samples, my guess is 30 seconds or so, so you can hear something before you buy it. We are also thinking of making some CDs with the two tracks and a few live ones and selling them at shows. So if anyone is interested or has any good ideas, let us know.

Naughty P.J. Party

A-Town Mob has once again invited us to play a show with them, this time in Pevely, MO at TBC Venue. We’ve never been there before, but are expecting a good time. The show has been named the Naughty P.J. Party and people are asked to wear the Pajamas, we are planning on it. Too bad I sleep naked, so watch out girls.

This is an 18+ show for only $5! The whole shindig starts at 7pm, so don’t be late. Other bands that will be playing with us are The Fat Blunt Crew, Deimos, Sexion 8, Local Kings, John Boi and The Catalyst. If you need more info shoot us an email.

Well that covers the highlights of the world of Achalachia, we still have a lot of other things going on as well, song creation, new band name, trying out new guitar players and finding a label/manager. So if you think you can help us out in any way, let us know.
