Farewell Adam
Sep 22, 2010 News
We threw a farewell bash for Adam, the drummer, at the Wayout Club on the 11th of September. The show was a big success, Adam received the farewell he deserved, the other bands rocked the house and the turnout was great.
Adam left on a secret mission, and is scheduled to be gone for quite some time, so what better excuse than to throw a party/show at the Wayout club. Since it’s a secret mission, we can’t say too much about where he’s going without having to kill you, but I can say that it does have something to do with Ninja’s riding Dinosaurs again. Farewell Adam, be safe.
We played the show with Dive and Marz 88, both of which rocked the house. We decided to play first so we could enjoy the show, have a few drinks and not worry about staying sober all night to actually perform. Kyle made a guest appearance and danced for us during Self-Esteem, which is always a crowd pleaser. All-in-all I couldn’t have hoped for anything better, and if you missed it, you miss out.
Dive followed us, and while I personally didn’t get to see the first half of their set due to the packing of gear, everyone that I talked too said they were great. And if the beginning was anything like the end… all I can say is you need to see them.
Marz 88 was the headliner and they also rocked. They got the room dancing and with beer on their side they couldn’t have been more fun. Again, if you get the chance, check this band out.
Thank you to all the bands and fans that came out and made this show such a success. And a special thank you to the Wayout Club for having us. And we hope to see you all next time with our guest drummer while we wait for Adam’s return.

Way Out Bust
Jul 19, 2010 News
We had a show on Thursday, July 15th at the Way Out Club with Marz 88 and others, but we never got to even bring our equipment inside. Apparently the club double booked us with an out-of-town touring act and since we are the locals, we get bumped.
When we showed up we didn’t recognize any of the other bands, so we decided to head inside before unload our stuff. I saw Bob (the owner) moving some chairs around, so I went to him to say hello and to see if he needed any help.
We started chatting about how long it had been since we played the Way Out Club, and I mentioned that the last time we were there was with Marz 88. When he told me they were playing there next week I knew something was wrong.
After a minute of confusion Bob and I headed off to his computer to find out what his schedule said. And the Marz 88 show was on the books. So who were these other guys?
Apparently, they booked their show the same night, and since they are a touring act they got to keep the show. Not that big of a deal, other than scrambling to let everyone we knew that we were not playing, we got the night off.
I felt bad for Marz 88, they apparently had a show booked for that evening at the Library, but since it shut down a few weeks before they rescheduled for the Way Out Club. Two canceled shows in one evening, someone is telling you something.
We are in the process of booking our next batch of local shows, so stay tuned and we hope to see you there.
